Sensory issues in context of whole body and occupational performance

Hi all!  I’m very pleased to have my site up and running again after some ‘technical difficulties’ with our national carrier!

I (together with my colleagues Nerida & Julie and more recently, Nancye) am  very honoured to have successfully applied to present our poster at the national Occupational Therapy Australia conference in Perth in July 2017.

We have worked to create educational handouts for families, carers and educators, and are trialling and constantly  modifying them with feedback from the users.

More evidence based research is available to support that sensory processing disorders have a biological basis in  nervous system issues and can be seen in PET scans – see site below for one recent study
